Many American Indian children grow up in poverty on the reservations, lacking a decent pair of shoes or food in the pantry.

Too often, our field staff tells us stories of two children trying to get through the winter by sharing a single coat or having nothing at all.

Running Strong works through food banks in two states to distribute brand new coats to the many children we find struggling to get through the winter without one.
